Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
This page explains what information Pulseboard collects, what we do with it and how you can ask us to change or delete it. It covers your account and the Shopify order data from the stores you connect.
1. Who we are
Pulseboard is run by HSJ Solutions, trading as Pulseboard, from 868 R1, Johar Town, Lahore, Pakistan. We decide how your information is used, which makes us responsible for it (the “controller”). For any privacy question, email support@pulseboard.com.pk or call +92 300 1121475.
2. What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address and organisation name. Our sign-in provider stores these so you can log in.
- Your orders: for each Shopify store you connect, Shopify sends us the order total, currency, city, time, the items ordered and the customer name on the order.
- Your billing: your plan, whether your subscription is active, and your invoices. Paddle, our reseller, takes your payment and holds your card details and billing address. We never see your card number or store it.
- Basic technical logs, such as the time of a request and any error, so we can keep the service running and secure.
3. What we use it for, and why we may
- Your account and your orders: to provide the service you signed up for, showing you your own sales on the live map, the order list and your charts. We need these to fulfil our contract with you.
- Your billing details: to run your subscription and contact you about it, and to keep the records that tax and accounting law require.
- Technical logs: to keep the service secure and working, which is in our legitimate interest and yours.
We do not sell your data to anyone. We do not use your customers’ details to advertise to them or for any other purpose.
4. How we receive your orders
Shopify sends us each new order as it is placed, and once a day we check with Shopify for anything that was missed. Everything is stored in our own database, so viewing your dashboard never sends a request to Shopify. We keep receiving your orders even if your subscription lapses, so your history has no gaps when you come back.
5. How long we keep it
- Individual orders are kept for 90 days, then deleted.
- Daily sales totals, which power your charts, are kept for as long as you are a customer. Every plan includes your full history.
- Account and billing records are kept while your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
6. Who else handles it
Paddle.com, our reseller and the Merchant of Record for all our orders, receives your name, email, billing address and payment details so it can take payments, work out tax and handle refunds. Its own privacy notice covers what it does with them. We also use a small number of service providers to run Pulseboard: Vercel (hosting), Neon (our database), Upstash (fast storage for live figures), Clerk (sign-in) and Resend (email). Each one only gets the data it needs for its part of the service, and each is bound by contract to protect it. We may share data with professional advisers, such as our accountant, and with the authorities only where the law requires us to.
7. How we protect it
Every request is checked on our servers against the stores your account can see, so one customer can never see another customer’s stores. Data is encrypted while it travels over the internet, and only the people who need access to run the service have it.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and your account secure, set by our sign-in provider. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. The checkout, run by Paddle, may set its own cookies to process your payment safely.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Disconnecting a store stops new orders from that store reaching us. To delete what we already hold, email us from the address on your account. We reply within 2 working days and complete a deletion within 30 days. You can also object to how we use your data, and if you are unhappy with our answer, complain to the data protection authority where you live.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. For a significant change, we also email account owners before it applies.
